Congressman Jamie Raskin is the U.S. Representative for Maryland’s 8th Congressional District. He served as Lead House Manager in the second Senate impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump, which ended with a 57-43 vote to convict Trump for inciting a violent insurrection against the Constitution to overthrow the 2020 presidential election. He also served on the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol and the House Judiciary, Oversight, Rules and Administration Committees. Raskin currently serves as Ranking Democrat on the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability and leads the effort to “debunk and refute MAGA propaganda and disinformation.”
